We are seeking an energetic and coachable candidate to join our enourmous Business Development Center - Sales Team, where business is booming! You will create/confirm sales appointments; make outbound calls to generate business for the company and follow-up with clients who recently visited our dealership. All sales leads will be provided. You must be able to multi- task, use a multi-line phone system, report your progress and deliver exceptional customer service.  Working in a Call-center environment with others. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • The ability to quickly build rapport with the client.
  • Communicates effectively with Sales customers and prospects whether by phone, by e-mail or in person.
  • Knowledge of auto dealership products and services a plus or we can train the right person.
  • Directs customers to product information resources, including those available on the Internet.
  • Assists customers in scheduling a visit to select a vehicle and offers sales support.
  • Confirms customer appointments and follows up afterwards.
  • Understands the psychology of Sales customers and works with them accordingly to draw them into the store for proper vehicle demonstration.
  • Checks e-mail frequently and responds to inquiries immediately. Delivers messages intended for the other departments promptly. Notifies customers that their messages have been forwarded to the appropriate personnel for prompt attention.
  • Knows and understands the federal, state and local laws which govern retail automobile sales.
  • Keeps abreast of new products, features, accessories, etc. and their benefits to customers. Attends product and sales training as requested by manager.

SECONDARY DUTIES:

  • Coordinates promotions with other dealership sales promotions and advertising.
  • Polished communication skills via the phone and email.
  • Listening skills.

QUALIFICATIONS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • At Least 6 months of Automotive Experience (sales or BDC)
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Excellent communication skills.
